Terms of Service
These terms form a binding agreement between you and Redline Labs ("we", "us"), the operator of Redline. Read them before using the service.
1. Who you are contracting with
The service is provided by Redline Labs, trading as Redline. You can reach us at support@redline.app.
2. Acceptance and authority
By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you use Redline on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you use it as an individual you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
3. What Redline is
Redline runs benchmark workloads in your browser to measure how a device handles CPU, memory, layout, GPU and network load, and can fetch a public URL you supply to audit how that page is delivered. Results are estimates produced under real-world conditions and will vary between runs, browsers and thermal states.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully, or for fraud, spam or abuse;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing, credential stuffing, scraping or circumvention of rate limits or plan gates;
- submit a URL to the audit tools unless you own the target or are authorised by its owner to test it. Repeated or automated auditing of third-party sites without permission is prohibited and may be unlawful in your jurisdiction;
- resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
5. Accounts and credentials
You are responsible for keeping your password and CI API keys confidential and for all activity under your account. Rotate or revoke a key immediately if you suspect exposure. You must give accurate account information and keep it current.
6. AI-generated analysis
Redline uses large language models to turn measurements into written recommendations. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. They are engineering suggestions, not professional advice, and must be reviewed by a competent person before you act on them. You are responsible for anything you submit as input, for having the rights to that content, and for how you use the output.
We may filter, refuse or remove content and outputs, and may suspend accounts that use the AI features to generate unlawful, infringing or abusive material.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the service, including its software, benchmarks, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You keep ownership of the run data you generate; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it in order to provide the service.
8. Service level
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Plans, payment and subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you selected until cancelled. Payment, billing frequency, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller and are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for the money-back window.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. On termination your access ends; you can export your run data before cancelling, and we delete or anonymise remaining data in line with the Privacy Notice.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims from owners of sites you audited without authorisation.
13. Changes, assignment and law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Redline Labs is established, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
